Shahnaz
Shahnaz has now won three races. In June she won her first race at Hamilton at odds of 25/1, before going in again at Hamiton, followed by a career best at Carlisle.
She is by Decorated Knight. Decorated Knight progressed into a three-times Group 1 winner at 5, including the Irish Champion Stakes. He looks a particularly interesting as he improved with age and it seems likely his progeny will too.

Sarkha
Sarkha is a handsome gelding with plenty of size and scope. He is already a proven winner as recently as May and looks open to improvement. We bought this lad for very sensible money from a poor sale. He should relish the switch from a large yard in Newmarket to the Yorkshire countryside.
He is out of Saga Celbre who was already produced two 100+ horses on the flat and was herself a black type performer. Sarkha's sister is Sagely who has bred four time group one winner Perfect Power.
Sarkha is by The Gurkha who was unraced at 2, before winning the French 2,000 Guineas & Sussex Stakes at 3. He has group winners on the flat to his name and is also the stallion of Nicky Henderson Group 1 placed Luccia.
10% shares remaining. £125 per 2.5% and £47.50 per month.
Kalabana
Capone
When making his debut in a ten-runner three-mile maiden point-to-point, Kalabana was described by the commentator as ‘one for the notebook’. It was hard to disagree that comment, for he moved smoothly into contention on the home turn – which was still half a mile from the finish – and then stayed on to finish third on ground which had been watered and was described as ‘tiring’ by several riders. The first two had the benefit of a recent run and came from very smart stables, and it is sure the experience will have taught this horse plenty.
The winner of that race was sold for £70k and the horse in second was only a length in front of Kalabana sold for £24k.
The sire has produced multiple group1 winners such as Champion Hurdle and Triumph Hurdle winner Katchit.
