Begin The Luck is a progressive young chaser who was a revelation once going over fences last season. His record stands at four wins from just six starts. Including a 17 length success on his last start of the season at Stratford.
He is by sire Le Fou who is a half-brother to Montjeu. Leading progeny of Le Fou include classy handicappers Cedre Bleu, Dolatulo and Urbain De Sivola. Le Fou was a talented performer in his own right, finishing second in the Group 3 Prix la Force and defeating Westerner and Sulamani to win a Longchamp conditions race.
The dam Bobsyourdad is a proven source of winners with 11 victories between her five runners. These include the Alan King trained Swansbrook who won a bumper before victory in an Ascot handicap (128 RPR).
UPDATE: He has now done plenty of fitness work and will be ready to run in a few weeks.
