Capone is a handsome brown gelding who won three times over hurdles for his previous trainer Charlie Mann. Charlie purchased Capone after he ran a series of promising races in Germany, including a listed race and in the German Derby.

After Charlie retired from racing, Dominic Ffrench Davis took on Capone and has been campaigning him back on the flat. He's a good work horse and has recently been rewarded with a Saturday success at Chester. Trainer Dominic Ffrench Davis has enjoyed a fine campaign achieving an incredible 20% strike rate.

Capone is by multiple group 1 winner Nathaniel and out of Codera who has produced black type horses such as Colomano and Codoor. It is a high class family littered with winners.
