Haarar has been purchased as an exciting recruit from the flat who will be campaigned over jumps. He has won twice on the flat achieving a peak RPR of 84. He is a thorough stayer having won over trips between 1m 4f and 1m 6f and handles most going conditions including soft ground.

He is very well bred being by multiple group one winner Muhaarar. Of particular note is how well his progeny have performed when going jumping. He is the stallion of a Dream to Share who has won five races from five starts including two group ones and Burdett Road who is now two wins from two starts, including a comprehensive G2 win at Cheltenham.

The dam was a talented mare (peak RPR 89) and is a half sister to Yorkshire Oaks winner Key Change. The dam has bred black type performers such as Tiburtina (RPR 96) and Prince Alex (RPR 98). Haarar's half brother Miami Beach also won a miaden hurdle in Ireland for J P McManus before being retired through injury.

Haarar looks a very exciting prospect and has been bought for very sensible money. He is with a trainer who does very well with these types and the parallels to Burdett Road make him all the more interesting. Both horses have come from Michael Bells, both are by Muhaarar and both dams are closely related to Saddlers Wells.
