A busy week coming up with three runners, a first for the club.
Our first runner is I Had a Dream who runs over 7f at Beverley. It will be her first run for us on turf and any rain will be a positive. She has now fallen to a handicap mark from which we think she will be competitive. Stall ten is a small negative but hopefully she runs a nice race.
Then on Tuesday we have Double Legend contesting a 1m 4f apprentice handicap at Lingfield. We tried him at Wolverhampton on his last run and the track did not appear to suit. It was run a start stop pace and we just got caught too fair back to really get involved. We expect to see an improved showing back at Lingfield where he was won over course and distance.
Finally on Friday we have Carlovian running over 6f at Nottingham. He ran uncharacteristically last time at Thirsk, as he is normally ultra consistent. He remains in good form at home so we will try him around a different track, with the forecast rain likely to help him. He could run a big race if putting his last disappointment behind him.
