It has been a busy few weeks with the club hosting our first open day at Mark Walford's. It was a really good day where we had a chance to see both our horses, including our two year old Estikaal working on the gallops.

Mark was a great host and owners had chance to ask him lots of questions, get a really detailed tour of the yard and also get pictures with the horses. After this, a number of us headed down to York races where it was lovely to see a proper atmosphere back at the racing.

Carlovian ran a few days ago. It wasn't his best trip and not the ideal ground. However, it was a below par effort and he was sore on his foot the next day. His last two runs he has finished with a bruised foot so we will get the vet to check him over. Once we get him right then he will be very well handicapped.

On Wednesday Double Legend also runs at Kempton. He has been freshened up these past few weeks and is in good form at home. Unfortunately we have been given the worst stall of all which will affect his chance significantly. When things do eventually drop right, we think he will run a big race.

We have also just become involved with an exciting two year old that Roger Ingram recently purchased from the Breeze Ups. She is by Iffraaj and is showing plenty of speed at home. The dam is a close relation to another horse Roger Trained called Silver grey who was a top class performer. She seems an exciting prospect based on what we have seen so far.

We've also began searching for our first ever national hunt horse as a few owners have shown an interest in this. We are still meeting trainers and looking at options but we hope to have some exciting news soon!
