I Had a Dream runs in the 8.20 at Kempton tomorrow. She will be running over 7 furlongs and Hayley Turner takes the ride.
She ran around a month ago at Southwell over one mile and did not handle the surface or trip. We hope by returning to a track and distance where she has run well before, we will see her to better effect.
It is still very much early days with her as she has only had the five starts. We have a good draw in stall three and we will hopefully drop her in this time and let her finish off her race well. She will also be wearing some first time headgear to keep her focused on the job in hand.
Steph reports that she is loving the soft ground at home so the plan remains to run her a few times on AW to get her fully tuned up for the early part of the turf season. If she shows some good from on the AW before then that would be a bonus.
