A quiet week racing wise but all our horses are all ticking along nicely. Plus we have the exciting addition of a new recruit to the Maximum Racing ranks.
Carlovian is now in full work and will only be around four weeks off his first run of the season on the AW which will put him spot on for the start of the turf season. Carlovian will race over 6 furlongs and wants soft ground.
I Had a Dream is also back cantering after her opteration and will take around a month to get fit. Again we will run her once on the all weather over 7 furlongs to get her ready for the start of the turf season where she will also enjoy soft ground.
The Estidhkaar Filly continues to progress nicely. Mark feels she is still growing and strengthening nicely so we have delayed stepping up her work by a few weeks. We are still on track for her to make her debut in June.
Finally, Double Legend joined the Maximum Racing team. He is already a winner this year and has since backed up that form by finishing second off 5lb higher. He is a horse we think we can have a lot of fun with.
