A busy week coming up with two runners towards the end of the week.
On Friday Carlovian will head to Newcastle, running over 5 furlongs. He is looking stronger than ever at home, although the aim of his first run will just be to blow away a few cobwebs. He will be seen to his best over 6 furlongs on soft turf.
The following day Double Legend heads to Kempton for a 1m 4f race. He was dropped 1lb by the handicapper for finishing a staying on fourth, so we think he would have another chance of a place back at a course and distance where he has won twice before.
I Had a Dream continues to progress well and is only a few weeks away from a run. We know she is a better horse on turf so hopefully we see some improved form from her soon.
Finally, Estikaal is still in light work after an x-ray showed she is still growing and strengthening. She looks better and better as each month goes by and we are
hopeful she will prove a real bargain.
