April saw us notch another winner with Sabbathical registering an incredible third win of the season. He headed up to Bangor for a class four 2m 1f contest and was partnered by Adam Wedge in the saddle. He has been some horse for the club winning a total of four times and there is no doubt that on his day, when he jumps well, he is a tough horse to beat.
Petite Sioux had her final run and now qualifies for a handicap mark. We hope that with a step up in trip she will shape better as she has been doing her best work late.
The Muffin Man has now had a couple of starts and we feel is back on a mark from which he will be competitive. We think a stiff 7f will suit him although he may stay further in time.
Shahnaz has had a couple of pipe openers over 7 furlongs to build her fitness. A stiff mile on decent ground should see her in a better light.
Capone is now a couple of weeks off running and we have found a possible race for him at Goodwood which should be a lovely day out for his owners.
