Our super star Shahnaz won again for the third time at Carlisle which was an amazing achievement for everyone involved. She was ridden again by Laura Coughlan, making her own running and then kicking clear at just the right moment. It has been fantastic to get three wins from a horse that was relatively cheaply bought.
Hulton Ranger also ran his best race yet. He did plenty wrong but stayed on well to finish second. Voodoo Doll stepped up in trip to almost 3 miles and was finishing really well. He was probably unlucky to only get fourth.
Kalabana has now come back into work and will do two weeks of trotting on the roads, followed by two weeks of cantering on the round gallop. He has done really well for his break. Petite Sioux is still out in the field and will start work again towards the end of September.
