July 2022

July has been a busy and successful month for the club. Shahnaz won again in convincing fashion at Hamilton for the second time this year. She was given a lovely ride by Laura Coughlan and skipped clear a furlong out. She appears to be a filly on the upgrade at the minute.

Hulton Ranger continued the theme of race by race progress. It was a strange days racing at Pontefract where everything was finishing strung out like washing, but he stayed on well for fifth. Voodoo Doll was travelling really well at Worcester when unseating two out but thankfully the horse and jockey were both fine afterwards.

Kalabana and Petite Sioux are our exciting young prospects and continue to enjoy some down time in the sun. Kalabana will start his prep for the national hunt season in August and Pete Sioux will come back into work around September time.
