June got off to a fantastic start with Shahnaz running out a good winner up at Hamilton, returning at a fantastic 25/1. There were a few bemused punters at the course that day but this came as no surprise to us as the yard reports had all been very positive. Hopefully, she is capable of further improvement over the coming months.
Hulton Ranger ran at Pontefract in a strange race where they finished strung out like washing. However, he continued to show progress and finished fifth. We haven't quite found the key to him yet but all the jockeys that ride him report that he gives a nice feel and will be winning races in the not too distant future.
We have decided to give our Sioux Nation Filly a short break so she has time to properly fill her frame. The sire continues to produce lots of winners and was unlucky not to get add a Group 2 Ascot winner to his resume last week. We are hopeful our patience will be rewarded.
Kalabana will return from his holiday in July and begin preparations for the national hunt season.
Voodoo had a minor setback and will be back racing mid July and looks to be on a good handicap mark now.
