The jumps season is now getting underway and we have recently added Kym Eyre and Begin the Luck to our string.
Kym Eyre made her club debut over hurdles at Newton Abbot. She ran a very brave race to win at the first time of asking. The trip was sharp enough but they went a good honest pace and she was able to out stay the longtime leader coming over the last. She was given a lovely well judged ride by jockey Isabel Williams.
Kym then headed to Fffos Las for a chase race for conditional jockeys. Her jumping was a little wayward at a few but she soon warmed up to the task. She was always prominent and gave herself every chance coming into the last. She has half a stride slow over it and in a dramatic finish, was beaten a short head only to be awarded the race in the stewards room. She's a wonderfully genuine mare who now has back to back wins for us.
Begin The Luck and Kalabana are both ready to run as soon as we can find a suitable race and ground.
The unraced Coach House filly has now been named Groove Inn and is also ready to make her debut. Sarkha and Shahnaz will both continue running on the AW before heading off on a holiday at some point.
