Sarkha is a handsome gelding with plenty of size and scope. He stands at 16.2hh and is relatively lightly raced as he did not see the track as a two year old. He is already a proven winner as recently as May and looks open to improvement.

He is out of Saga Celbre who was already produced two 100+ horses on the flat and was herself a black type performer. Sarkha's sister is Sagely who has bred four time group one winner Perfect Power. It's as impressive a pedigree on the Dam's side as you will likely see.

Sarkha is by The Gurkha who was unraced at 2, before winning the French 2,000 Guineas & Sussex Stakes at 3. He has group winners on the flat to his name and is also the stallion of Nicky Henderson Group 1 placed Luccia.

We bought this lad for very sensible money from a poor sale. Sarkha should relish the switch from a large yard in Newmarket to the Yorkshire countryside. Shares have proved popular and we don't expect them to last long.
